Louis Armstrong House Museum, a National Historic Landmark and a New York City landmark, welcomes visitors from all over the world, six days per week, 52 weeks per year. No one has lived in the house since the Armstrongs, and visitors have the delightful sensation that "Louis and Lucille just stepped out for a moment." The Museum's monumental research collections (the world's largest archives for a jazz musician) are accessible free of charge to students, scholars, and anyone interested in Louis Armstrong. |
